1. Acceptance of Terms​

By accessing or using Wryn's web scraping services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description​

Wryn provides a cloud-based web scraping platform that enables users to extract data from publicly accessible websites through an API.

3. Account Registration​

3.1 Account Creation​

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

3.2 API Keys​

  • API keys are confidential credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity under your API keys
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use​

4.1 Permitted Use​

  • Scraping publicly accessible data
  • Complying with target website Terms of Service
  • Respecting robots.txt files
  • Adding appropriate rate limiting

4.2 Prohibited Use​

You may NOT:

  • Scrape websites that prohibit scraping in their Terms of Service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Scrape personal data without consent (GDPR compliance required)
  • Attempt to bypass service security measures
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Cause harm to target websites through excessive requests

5. Usage Limits​

5.1 Rate Limits​

  • Free tier: 1,000 requests/month, 10/minute
  • Starter: 15,000 requests/month, 60/minute
  • Professional: 100,000 requests/month, 300/minute
  • Enterprise: Custom limits

5.2 Overage​

Requests exceeding your plan limits may be queued or require add-on purchases.

6. Payment Terms​

6.1 Pricing​

  • Prices are listed on our Pricing page
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹)
  • Subject to change with 30 days notice

6.2 Billing​

  • Monthly billing cycles
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
  • No refunds for partial months

6.3 Refund Policy​

  • 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans
  • No refunds after 14 days
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days

7. Data & Privacy​

7.1 Your Data​

  • You own all data you scrape
  • We do not claim ownership of scraped data
  • Results retained for 30 days by default

7.2 Privacy​

  • We comply with GDPR and CCPA
  • Data processing agreements available

8. Intellectual Property​

8.1 Service IP​

  • Wryn retains all rights to the Service
  • Our technology, algorithms, and infrastructure are proprietary

8.2 User Content​

  • You retain rights to your scraped data
  • You grant us license to process data to provide the Service

9.1 Your Responsibility​

You are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with target website Terms of Service
  • Compliance with applicable laws
  • Respecting intellectual property rights
  • Ethical use of scraped data

9.2 Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify Wryn against claims arising from your use of the Service.

10. Service Level Agreement​

10.1 Uptime​

  • Free/Starter: No guarantee
  • Professional: 99.9% uptime
  • Enterprise: 99.95% uptime

10.2 Maintenance​

We may perform scheduled maintenance with notice.

11. Disclaimers​

11.1 Service Provided "As Is"​

  • No warranties of any kind
  • No guarantee of scraping success
  • Target websites may change without notice

We do not provide legal advice on scraping compliance.

12. Limitation of Liability​

Wryn's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data
  • Target website changes or blocking

13. Termination​

13.1 By You​

Cancel anytime from your dashboard. No refunds for partial months.

13.2 By Us​

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Terms of Service violations
  • Non-payment
  • Illegal activity
  • Abuse of the Service

14. Changes to Terms​

We may modify these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

15. Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in Bangalore, Karnataka courts.
